bluebeard's castle
Motion graphics for the Bela Bartók opera "the Bluebeard's Castle", with Felipe Hirsch direction and scenography by Daniela Thomas.
The animations were projected on a screen in front of the stage and on the stage itself, and then reflected on large mirrors that composed the opera setting - Bluebeard's Caste doors, opened, one by one, by his bride Judith. Torturing tools, war scenes, cities of light, tears, roots, human body technical drawings, x-ray pictures, were merged to Daniela Thomas scenery, reconstructing Bluebeard's dark and dangerous universe in a modern and abstract interpretation.
